Default yamaha pss360/460

hello

i want modified my yamaha pss-360

but on the specification of the umr kit i see not compatible with pss-470

the yamaha pss-360/460 is compatible ???

Hi, I'm not sure--sorry. The only way to find out is to attempt an installation.

The reason that the PSS-470 and some other models do not work is that the "scan speed" of the host is too fast, and the UMR can't inject a keypress signal quickly enough for it to be "seen" by the host.

...so it's just a matter of trial-and-error to see which keyboards might have this issue. If the keyboard is internally very similar to the PSS-470, it may be likely to have the same (in)compatibility but I'm not sure.

In the distant future there may be a truly universal retrofit that addresses the problem.
