Default trigger casio sk-5 drums. can some one help me please?

Hi i can someone help give some tips on how to trigger sk-5 drum hits via UMR ?
i have it wired up and sk-5 is receiving notes from UMR now.

Hi D,

Both sets of pads (both the drum pads and sample pads) are easy to trigger using the UMR.

Each set of 4 pads shares the same 4 data lines as the rest of the keys, and each set of 4 simply uses its own select line.

So, if you connect UMR "select in" "9" and "A" to the correct pins on the SK-5's 25-pin ribbon cable, the pads can be triggered by the 8 MIDI notes just above the range of the keyboard.

These pins are identified in the old SKM installation notes (see step 10):

So, for example, connect UMR "select in 9" to 25-pin ribbon pin #4, and connect UMR "select in A" to 25-pin ribbon pin #10.

Now, instead of the usual MIDI range of 32 notes, you'll have a 40-note range with the top 8 notes each triggering one of the pads.
