Default MIDI2600 Notes vs Synthcart Notes

The MIDI2600 does not add any extra notes or other functionality to Synthcart. It simply allows you to "press the keypad buttons" with MIDI notes, rather than your fingers. (And the select/reset buttons, also.) Does that make sense?

The MIDI2600 MIDI implementation page may clarify things a little bit. It shows which keys on your MIDI keyboard will control which Atari 2600 Keypad button, joystick button, or select/reset button:
