Default Casio SK-1 UMR Midi Implementation

Hey, I had a few questions concerning which variables are midi controlled after installing the UMR in a Casio SK-1. Is it possible to access the drum sounds, change instruments and or toggle the sampling option via midi? What else is there that I can control via my computer besides the note values? One last question, how to I change the midi channel to 2, 3, 4. I know it's something to do with the SW2 settings, ya?

Thanks in advance!

With the basic installation, the UMR will only control the keyboard (notes).

MIDI channel is indeed set via the DIP switch. Details here:

It is possible to control some of the other control buttons via MIDI. Buttons that share the same data lines as the keys can be controlled by additional MIDI notes, if you connect their select line(s) to the UMR.

It would take some tinkering to get this working, but the information you'll need to wire up the control buttons is here:

Hope this helps.
