Hi Tom, welcome to the forum. Have you looked at this thread?

http://forum.highlyliquid.com/showthread.php?t=707

I'll need a lot more detail to help you.

Since you have a working foot switch, it seems like you have successfully used a SysEx message to configure your MIDI CPU in the past. Is that correct?

I did look at that thread, i just don't understand midi code, or how to send it, or where to send it.
I actually did nothing but wire up the cpu to some switches and it just worked.

Tom,

Please provide a list of MIDI CPU control terminals 0-23 and how you propose to use each one. That will help to get things started.

1 through 12 are note switches
13 octave up
14 octave down
15 sustain

is it possible to add mod wheels and bank up and down?

sorry for my midi ignorance, and thanks so much for your time.

Yes, it's possible to add those. But it will be best to first get the basic config working as written in the other thread.

You are on the right track with using SysEx Librarian to send the config to the MIDI CPU.

Did you take the config from the other thread:

http://forum.highlyliquid.com/showthread.php?t=707

and convert it to .syx files using the online converter?
