Default MD24 Rev H Beta

For those that are interested, a new and much-improved MD24 is now available in limited quantity here:

If there is enough interest, this will go into production soon.

Default How can I get an MD24?

It has been several years since I ordered an MD24. I have used them in my projects and they are, by far the best MIDI decoders available. I would like to get several more, but I am a bit confused on how to do that. They are sold out on the Highly Liquid store website, and apparently a new version is or will be available soon, but the Beta test program is full. How do I get an old or new MD24?

Also, does the new MD24 have the same or similar programming parameters as the old MD24? Specifically, I am interested in being able to program the note number and pulse width for each output. Is there a programming manual available for the new MD24?

Thanks,

Jeff

As far as I know, the new version does everything the old one did and more.

I don't think he has a manual written yet.

Default Availability of new MD24 version

The link you posted is for a "pre-order". Is this available now if I order one?

Hi Jeff, we already made contact over email, but I'll also respond here in case anyone else is curious.

Yes, the MIDIWidget allows independent output pulse length for each output (for things like note, CC or sync response). It has all of the same functionality as the MD24 except for PWM/servo output, which is not yet implemented. (PWM might require an add-on board.)

There is a new configuration utility that makes programming very easy. It should make a programming manual unnecessary. However, I will add additional documentation as any questions come up.

The MD24 (now called the MIDIWidget) now has its own support forum:
