Default Example MPA Configuration (Note, CC)

Here's a SysEx message that will configure the MPA. Comments preceded by "//":

Here's the same configuration with one change: the logic outputs are configured for "note toggle" mode, which causes them to toggle state when a note-on message is received. Note-off messages are ignored. For a series of notes, this effectively cuts the number of state changes in half.
