Default installation

ok i've been incredibly stupid and soldered the ic socket and 'rn5' components onto the pcb the wrong way round -

firstly is this a major problem that needs to be changed? (guessing it is)

secondly - i'm having no luck at all with a desoldering pump, is a desolder reel going to improve things for me or shall i cut my losses and give up?

Chris

apologies for the above post - my problem has been solved through an email from John,

response was:

ic socket being the wrong way round shouldn't be a problem,

however RN5 does need to be the correct way around.
