Default SKM Version 2 MIDI Implementation

SK-1 Map

MIDI notes can be used to trigger keys and buttons. Buttons are "held" for the duration of the corresponding MIDI note. All instrument sounds can be accessed via Program Change messages.

53-84 - F3-C6 - Keys

1 - Trumpet
2 - Human Voice
3 - Pipe Organ

5 - Brass Ensemble
6 - Flute
7 - Synth Drums
8 - Jazz Organ
9 - Sample
10 - "Easter egg" instrument, not available via manual control.

SK-5 Map

53-84 - F3-C6 - Keys
85 - C#6 - Rhythm Pad: Lion
86 - D6 - Rhythm Pad: Laser Gun
87 - D#6 - Rhythm Pad: Hi Bongo
88 - E6 - Rhythm Pad: Low Bongo
89 - F6 - Sample Pad 1
90 - F#6 - Sample Pad 2
91 - G6 - Sample Pad 3
92 - G#6 - Sample Pad 4

MIDI Channel Selection

Keyboard will respond to the MIDI channel specified with the DIP switch (SW1). Channel selection becomes active at power-up.
