Default USB to Midi

Is it posible to use the MIDIWidget to convert USB MIDI to the 5 pin MIDI IN and Out. The reason for this is the the BOSS GP-10 has USB MIDI but no 5 pin MIDI connectors which makes it imposible to add a pedalboard to control the unit via that pedal board. Some people are using the Raspberry PI to the the conversion but I'm a fan of Highly Liquid MIDI CPU and would prefer a solution from them.

At a glance, it seems like the GP-10 requires a USB host, which the MIDIWidget can't provide, sorry. Maybe there is an off-the-shelf product that can do it, but I'm not really sure.
