Default PGM change to control CC position

Hi. I've assembled my MPA and following the forum discussions, I've configured it.
I still can't achieve what I'm looking for.

I've a Behringer B-Control nano BCN44 with 4 knob to control the MPA resistors (CC 0,and 1).
The behringer has 128 pgm memory to hold the knobs positions.
I've a ART X11 peadal board sending PGM change on channel 1 and I use it to send the PGM change messages to the behringer.
Each program on the behringer hold different knobs position and I need to recall those positions everytime I launch a PGM change from the X11.

The problem is that the behringer can modify the resistor value whan the knobs are moved, it can as well receive the PGM change, But I can achieve to recall the instant knobs position when a PGM change is sent.

I basically need to launch a snapshot from the behringer when a PGM change message is received.

Does anyone can help?

Hi Olivierm,

I understand exactly what you're trying to do. I'm not familiar with the BCN44 so I'm not sure how you'd trigger a "snapshot send" with a MIDI command. Maybe the BCN44 manufacturer can help you with that.

Perhaps you can eliminate the BCN44 entirely...is the pedal board able to generate multiple MIDI messages with a program selection? For example, maybe you can cause it to send multiple CC messages in order to set the potentiometer values directly?

Hi John.
Thanks for your answer.
My actual pedal board can only send PGM change. The one I'm waiting for will send PGM and CC's.
The problem is while I'm rehearsing with my band, I'd like to be able to adjust the level (reason why I wanted to use the BCN44).
Your idea is fine If I'm already ok on the required level.
How can I adjust the level then store it? that's a difficult one.

regards

The MPA can't store & recall it's own "preset"--sorry. (If that's what you mean). It can only respond to direct potentiometer position commands (via CC, program change, etc).
