Default Speak & Tell TMS1000 processor etc

Hi

Could someone give me a brief overview of the MIDISpeak.

Is the Speak & Tell part modified in any way, or does the new pcb work with the Speak & Tell.

What I would like to know is if the Speak & Tell is still standard and if the new pcb inputs into the Speak & Tell and then the output is from the Speak & Tell.
In effect is the new pcb inserting code into the TMS1000 ?Has someone ascertained the code in the TMS1000 ?

I have a model train control using TMS1000 and would like to insert some new code into or via the TMS1000.
Your comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

Charlie

Hi Charlie,

The MIDISpeak interacts directly with the speech synthesis chip, not the microprocessor. I don't have any knowledge of the TMS1000--sorry.
