Perhaps for the UMR3 then

Cheers, Graham

Default Extra I/O Terminals

What are the plans for the extra I/O terminals? Are they "digital" or "analog"?

It would be great to add control for i.e. pitch bend, filter cutoff ir MIDI clock to a synth where the UMR2 is installed.

I have no plans for the X1, X2, and X3 terminals. There were extra microcontroller pins and a little room on the PCB so I added them in there.

They are digital logic I/O or analog input. One of them can also be an analog output, but the DAC is only 5 bits.

OK, but one digital will work adequately for a MIDI Clock output for a arpeggiator or sequencer sync input, right?

32 levels for the analog output, perhaps controlled by CC Modulation, is clearly audiable, but gives at least some control over i.e. filter, volume or modulation on an analog synthesizer, so IŽd love to se that option in the (near?) future.

You have good points. Unfortunately, I'm stretched very thin at the moment and won't be updated the UMR2 firmware any time soon. Sorry for not being more responsive on this request. I'm glad to have it documented here for future reference.
